​El Paso Knitting Guild

The El Paso Knitting Guild holds monthly meetings on the second Saturday of the month in the afternoon.

In addition to a brief period dedicated to Guild business, meetings feature show and tell, news about upcoming events, and instructional programs.

Possible topics throughout the year include:

* Intro to entrelac: the beginning basics for knitting entrelac
* Beads with knitting: different methods for inserting beads into your projects
* Reading charts: how to interpret symbols into knitting stitches
 Knit Along (KAL) projects: see the finished projects and introduce new ones
* TKGA Workshop reviews: members who attended the last conference will share what they learned
* Magic Loop Method: using one, long circular needle to knit items such as socks or gauntlets

The El Paso Knitting Guild also hosts several activities, such as:

* Knit in Public Day
* Outreach Knitting
* Community Knitting Projects
* Field Trips
* Guild tables at local sales
* Group dinners before the evening meetings!
